The 12th Night Ball!
This is one of the neatest things I have ever been too. There is a group in the Seattle area that sponsors Contra (think Pride and Prejudice) and Ball Room dancing in a very relaxed fun atmosphere. Each year they have a ball on the last day of the 12 days of Christmas. There was dancing, singing, food, and lots of sharp dressed young men and women and a few older ones.
