A Very Merry Christmas

We hope this year has found you well. It seems like it was just yesterday that we planted the garden, enjoyed the flowers, and dragged the ladder down to pick cherries. Don't worry. There was no falling off the ladder this year.

The Christmas season is here again… which is always a good place to find ourselves at. We are enjoying the wonderful food, the beauty of  winter in the Northwest, and we especially love all the music. Why can't music be so good the rest of the year? (I think I know but that is another subject.)

But Christmas, at its heart, is the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ.  We are asking ourselves this Christmas- what is our response to Jesus? Are we reacting like the religious leaders of the time who were indifferent to Him, the political leaders who wanted to kill Him so badly that they killed all the babies in an entire town, or are we like the wise men who desire to worship Him?  It is our prayer that everyone of us would believe on Him and come to the light and be repentant for our sins and turn to Him for salvation.
