One of our favorite places to visit is Fort Vancouver and the Portland area. We used some hotel points and the older girls (that is everyone except Matthew) slept in the backyard of Shelly and Tim's (who live two blocks from Margo and I's first home in a delightful neighborhood) for the final night. Victoria drove the big green van all the way down and back. It was a bit of a retro trip with a visit to the Northwest's first settlement (yes, that is Fort Vancouver and not Portland or Seattle or Spokane etc...) and Egg Press (an old fashioned printing press or presses). Yes, we visited Crossroads for the Wednesday service. Thanks for the hospitality Tim and Shelly!
