Thanksgiving Day

One thing that we noticed when studying where the Bible talks about giving thanks is that giving thanks and music are often connected to each other. It makes me wonder why Christmas is famous for its music (something I have no complaint against itself) but our Thanksgiving is not.  

We decided to have a musical celebration of Thanksgiving in our new music room with violin, flute, piano and song. We also had the debut, and maybe last performance, of the "Thanksgiving Song" by Daddy and the Destroyers.

Don't worry. We didn't go hungry either and a wonderful traditional dinner. Thanks Nana for coming and joining us.- Doug
