May 13th is always an exciting day, but every seven years it is extra special! Mother's Day and Margo's Birthday cross paths making for a grand reason for celebration. The girls worked overtime this year making a Mother's Day breakfast of quiche, pumpkin mufins, and fresh fruit. We headed off to church and then over to Carkeek Park on the sunniest day of the year. As you may imagine, we were not the only people there but we found one of those miracle parking spots right in front of everything. Doug and Margo took a short hike while the older girls watched the little one. We enjoyed hiking, beach combing, and sand digging. The day ended with dinner, cake, and presents.
