Lopez Island 2020

It was great to get away and visit Lopez Island and camp at Spencer Spit again this year. We were able to catch up with the wonderful Contreras family as we wandered along the spit looking out at the sail boats. We discovered a new "almost secret" beach and baked a Cherry Cobbler  over the fire. We suffered through some annoying neighbors, store closures, and nagging new regulations...but alas it was worth it to roast marshmallows by the fire and skip on driftwood logs with bare feet.
