Whooping Cough

Abby and Sophia enjoy a lighter moment as they recover from whooping cough. One of the criticisms of social media (which includes blogs apparently) is they we are always showing only the best of times. This is partly because we never take pictures of us at our worst. Well, whooping cough is pretty awful, and their were times when coughing rang through the house. Everyone but Doug, who had it as a child, had a bit of it. It was a blessing that Matthew only had a very very light case of it. Victoria, Abby, and Sophia had it the worst. Should you vaccinate against it? Ughh. That is still a tough question. Sophia was up on her shots and had it pretty bad and there is a good case for the connection of autism to the shots...but it is something to avoid if you can and it can be very harmful to small babies. I can understand why people get the shots. My best advice is pray.
